Cap de Creus Nature Reserve in Catalonia, Spain

About 40 km from the French town of Cerbère, we wanted to see a Spanish natural park, Cap de Creus, in Catalonia. According to the available information, motorhome entry is prohibited in the last section, approximately 6 km. But there is a regular bus from the town of Cadaqués. Thanks to such information, we discovered an enjoyable place to park and spend the night in this picturesque town, only 250 m from the house of Salvador Dalí, who lived here for 50 years and whose house is now a well-visited museum.

Well, in the end, everything was different. The bus runs only on weekends out of high season, but we were there on a weekday… However, a permit to enter motorhomes can be obtained from the local police within a few minutes and for free. And so we enjoyed the park to the fullest – first by driving through its quiet beauty and then on the hiking trail leading to the tip under the Cap de Creus lighthouse. The day dedicated to this beauty of nature was flawless. The following night, with a wind of 80 km/h, really couldn’t throw us off.
